I Made My First £10.80 With TikTok Shop Affiliate – Here’s What Happened
Blog Post HTML

I recently tested TikTok Shop Affiliate to see whether a normal TikTok video could actually generate a real sale.

The result?

One qualifying sale generated £10.80 in actual settled commission.

This wasn't estimated commission. I waited until the order was completed and the commission was officially settled before counting it as earnings.

What Did I Test?

I promoted a product through TikTok Shop Affiliate using a normal TikTok video.

The product was the HP-1 Focus Supplement, and at the time the affiliate commission rate shown for the sale was 20%.

My goal was simple:

Can one ordinary TikTok video generate an actual affiliate sale and real commission?

What Happened?

I published the TikTok video on 27 July 2026.

The following day, an attributed order was placed through TikTok Shop.

  • Attributed sale: 1
  • Commission rate: 20%
  • Actual settled commission: £10.80
  • Order date: 28 July 2026
  • Commission settled: 13 August 2026

Once the order completed TikTok's settlement process, the full £10.80 became actual commission.

The Interesting Part

What surprised me most was that the video didn't need tens of thousands of views to generate a sale.

This doesn't mean low-view videos will automatically make money. It simply shows that a video doesn't necessarily need to go viral before a viewer can click the product and make a purchase.

For me, that makes TikTok Shop Affiliate worth testing further.

Was It Easy Money?

No.

One successful sale doesn't prove that every product or video will work.

Some videos may get views and make no sales at all. Commission rates can change, orders can be cancelled or returned, and results can vary massively between creators.

One sale is a result — not a guarantee.

What I Learned

  • You don't necessarily need a huge audience to generate a sale.
  • Product choice matters.
  • The video needs to give people a reason to keep watching.
  • Estimated commission should not be treated as final earnings.
  • You need to test more than one video before judging whether the method works for you.

Would I Try TikTok Shop Affiliate Again?

Yes.

I earned £10.80 in settled commission from this test, so the next step is to test more products and more video styles.

What matters now isn't whether I can make one sale.

The real question is whether I can repeat the result consistently.

My Next Test

I'm going to keep testing TikTok Shop Affiliate with different products and videos and share what actually happens.

Some tests may make money. Others may make nothing.

That's the point of GrabFinds — showing the real process, not pretending every side hustle is guaranteed to work.
